EVE'S IMAGINATION

Eve is a three year old, rambunctious toddler who loves to create art. As an infant her mother wrapped her up in a sling, facing outwards, so she could be entertained by watching her paint. Perhaps it was this early introduction to art that sparked Eve's passion or just the natural part of every child that yearns to create something from nothing. Whichever it may be, it has led Eve to begin a series of artwork that continues to grow as she experiments with new techniques, styles and media. 

 

At two years old she began collaborating with her mother, Ruth Oosterman, to create the series "Collaborations with my Toddler." This series focuses on Eve and Ruth, partnering together as artistic equals and combining their opinions, talents and brushstrokes into one art piece.

 

When she is not collaborating with her mother she loves to spend hours painting with whatever she can find. Her favourite thing to do is take out as many paints as possible, surrounding herself with them, and intensely focusing on each of her creations.
